Pull of the Holidays with These Oatmeal Raisin Banana Breakfast Bars
With 3 crazy kiddos, my mealtime goals have to be 2 things: simple and toddler approved. If you’ve been following me for a while you know I love sharing recipes that include overripe bananas. Why?… well it’s because we ALWAYS overripe bananas at our house. Anyone with me?!
Today, I’m sharing an easy & delicious take on breakfast bars made with simple ingredients. These bars are insanely easy to make, and I love having them around because they are relatively healthy and, quick to eat while I get my crazy crew ready in the mornings. The best part about them is that they’re made with no refined sugar but naturally sweetened with bananas, maple syrup & Sun-Maid Raisins!
Made with nothing but grapes and California sunshine, Sun-Maid Raisins’ timeless and trusted goodness have been a healthy snack for kids and grown-up kids alike since 1912. Sun-Maid Raisins are whole fruit, 0g added sugars and are naturally sweet. They are incredibly versatile and easy to add into recipes or eat as a stand-alone snack.
I typically make these bad boys when I have overripe bananas. After baking, they can be stored in the fridge for 10 days and warmed up in the microwave for 10-15 seconds. I like my bars warm but for a crispy top, you can also toast them in the toaster oven, or enjoy them cold or at room temperature.
If you make these bars be sure to tag me in your posts and I’ll share it on my Instagram stories! I hope you love these bars as much as we do!
