Feeling Fall // Dark Florals
October 25, 2016Fall… the start of leggings, boots and all things comfy and cozy. This season, I am all about fall florals. It’s quite the unexpected twist reaching for floral prints when you’re drinking a pumpkin spice latte but somehow I just seriously can’t get enough!
Dark floral prints have taken over my closet and I’m not mad about it! It’s so easy to pair a cute floral print top with a pair of distressed jeans & booties or even leggings or tights! The bold print gives a feminine and flirty touch to my winter wardrobe which is typically full of every woman’s favorite color “black”.
Since it’s been 95 degrees everyday (like seriously.. so hot) I feel like a floral shift dress is the perfect transitional piece for fall in the south west. I paired my current favorite floral shift dress with some fringe booties for the perfect fall look (even though it feels like summer… LOL).
A few weeks when my mom came into town I was able to take her to explore “Old Mesilla”, a historic square located in New Mexico. The quaint little town is filled with all sorts of authentic New Mexican architecture, boutique stores and only THE best in New Mexican food! My outfit was the absolute perfect thing to wear while exploring Mesilla with my mama. If you’re ever driving through Las Cruces, this town would be the absolute best little pit stop to stop and stretch your leggings. Sharing outfit photos & a few of my favorite shots from our little adventure in Old Mesilla.
