Halloween Treasure Hunt // A Fun Idea for Halloween at Home with kids
October 31, 2020As parents, we have been challenged to pivot as we search for activities for our children to do this Halloween. This year, we are doing a little Halloween treasure hunt and I thought it was a great idea to share it with you all in case you were looking for something to do too! The activity can be done outdoors, indoors, or in your back yard! It is COVID friendly, and just something different for your little ones to do this Halloween!
Since the kids can’t read yet, I opted for a Halloween treasure hunt with images instead of a scavenger hunt. They can’t read clues so my free Halloween Treasure Hunt printable just has images. This activity can be modified and done with fun clues for older kids as well!
I gathered all of the things listed on the printable and will hide them in different places for the kids to find. Where each item lies, there will be a few treasures waiting for them to put in their Trick or Treat bags! If you don’t have certain items, print out a photo of whatever it is! This activity doesn’t have to be expensive to be fun!
Tag me in your photos and let me know if you send your kids on a Halloween Treasure hunt as well! Happy Halloween!
