Hosting The Holidays | El Paso's First Creatives Meet Up
November 29, 2017On November 15th I hosted my first blogger event! I was completely taken back by the experience and blown away by the amount of bloggers, creatives and photographers that showed up! It was so nice to finally connect and “meet” the people that I was following on Instagram in my community. Finding other bloggers in El Paso, had been incredibly difficult thus far but, by tapping into and searching hashtags for other creatives, I was able to invite get together with a wonderful group of incredibly talented men and women.
The event was called hosting the holidays with Jeannie Stringfield. Whole Foodsgraciously hosted the event, with an incredible selection of holiday food. I was able to share amy favorite holiday recipe, give some hosting tips, and collaborate with West ElmEl Paso, to do a tablescaping demonstration. In putting together this event with Whole Foods, I was able to bring together a group of local creatives who never knew the others existed. We were able to create an amazing group of individuals that could come together, collaborate grow and learn. And like that, The El Paso Creatives Societywas born. A place for local makers, bloggers, photographers and creatives to come together to help each other grow, learn and collorate. I hope that this is the first of many events that El Paso Creativeswill put on and that this group will continue to grow as our city grows.
Here are some highlights from the event brought to you by the incredibly talented Yasmin Campos from Coffee Creative Photography.
